She slowly turns her head toward the ducks gathering on the water, then leans forward slightly to watch them and returns to her relaxed upright position. Her messy hair and knitted cardigan move gently in the lake breeze. Several ducks paddle across the foreground in different directions, creating overlapping ripples; one briefly dips its head beneath the surface and rises again. The small tied rowboat rocks softly and pulls against its rope. Reeds sway, floating leaves drift and reflections of the distant church, trees and mountains shimmer across the lake.
